False Teacher
you lead by division
dispensing derision
separate
instead of integrate
Skilled forked tongue spear
piercing the wounded with fear
your hate speech resonates
and so you succeed to agitate
and by race or creed or caste
you isolate
and by criticism
exhalt yourself.

Oh my goodness, how powerful. I am so curious… who inspired this poem???
This was during the commotion of the falsely accused Duke University LaCrosse players. There were obvious outspoken leaders that attempted to represent the black community during that time, to me their agenda was the same old same old, a bitter taste in my mouth.
