This is good for me because Kidney Beans are high in:
Molybdenum – assists the body in detoxifying sulfites (a commonly used preservative)
Iron – carries oxygen in the body boosting immunity and energy
Folate- critical in the production of cells & maintenance of new cells
Fiber- We all know what that’s good for!

Winter Lentil Soup
- Thinly cover the bottom of a skillet with the olive oil, medium heat. Once hot add carrots, onions, green pepper and celery. Stir, so that everyone gets in on the fun. Once the onions are translucent, remove the whole mix and put in the crock-pot.
- Add the lentils, garlic, ginger, broth, salt and pepper to the crock-pot.
- Cook on high for 5-6 hours.
- Eat and enjoy.

This is good for me because Lentils are high in:
Iron – carries oxygen in the body boosting immunity and energy
Folate- critical in the production of cells & maintenance of new cells
Fiber- binds cholesterol in the colon causing it to exit the body, in addition to increasing bulk for the elimination of toxins.
